Association for fight against cancer Borka - For each new day, in cooperation with the Association Integrity Alpha and Omega and the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia for the third time will organize a pink walk to raise awareness about breast cancer as a potentially curable disease.
Motivated by the life stories of our members and following the example of the world, will arrange this pink walk in order to support people who are struggling with this disease, all together to celebrate life. Past years this walk was attended by approximately 4000 citizens of Macedonia.
Therefore, we decided to organize this pink walk in order to make it as a tradition. This year, citizens from 15 cities across Macedonia will come to give us their support. We believe it is time for everyone to start speaking publicly, to hear and to walk symbolically against breast cancer.
Fighting against breast cancer is too important for every one of us to live it to others. So, become a part of it! Help others to win!
The event will begin at 11:00 am in City Park in front “Shell”. Brief speeches before will have:
• Ms. Biba Dodeva, President of Borka - For each new day;
• H.E Mr. Philip Reeker, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Macedonia
For energizing the participants before the walk will ensure instructors of Fit One club with zumba fitness exercises.
After the pink walk follows a humanitarian concert which realization will be in charge of the band "RNC", and also will have a jam session with famous Macedonian singers which annually support our local campaign.
The event will be handing out free refreshments, educational flyers and brochures about breast cancer and pink balloons for the youngsters.
We invite you to donate, buying pink products and participate in the big pink walk!
Sales of pink products will start from May 23 (Monday) at the following locations: Shmizla, Dalmetfu, GTC, TC Biser, Clinical Center, Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and across cities in Macedonia.
